How does buying a car through L'Importeur work?
You pick a vehicle from our inventory or tell us what you want. We give you an all-in price covering everything from purchase to delivery. You pay, we handle the rest. Your car arrives in Curaçao registered, plated, and ready to drive.
Can I request a specific car that is not in your inventory?
Yes. If you have a particular make, model, color, or spec in mind, let us know. We will find it, send you full photos, service history, and specs, and give you a price before you commit to anything.
What documents do I need to provide?
A valid passport or ID and proof of residence in Curaçao. We take care of everything else including customs paperwork, registration, and plates.
Do I need a sedula to import a car to Curaçao?
Yes. Only residents with a valid sedula (residence permit) can import and register a vehicle in Curaçao. This is a legal requirement. If you are in the process of obtaining your sedula, contact us and we can discuss timing.
What brands and vehicles do you offer?
We specialize in premium vehicles that are not available through local dealerships. Think Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Porsche, Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator, Ford Bronco, and Toyota Land Cruiser. If it is desirable and hard to get on the island, we can probably get it.
